Red Letter Day!

One of my customers at work was Chris Gray, son of iconic American artist Jim Gray. Chris and I have more in common than just a love of awesome art - we both grew up in Mobile, Alabama and Gulf Shores. We quickly struck up an email friendship, and Chris was even kind enough to send me a copy of his father's latest coffee table book of his collected art. I absolutely love to look through it and see so many of the places that I know and love!
Well, as I said before, Chris was a customer of mine who planed on buying a car from me, and even put a deposit down on a new Subaru Outback that he would take delivery of when he and his wife came up to their Summer place in Maine this Spring. Unfortunately, plans were changed and Chris was unable to buy the car at this time, and wanted to know if he could have his deposit back. I understand how these things happen, and told him it wouldn't be a problem. Still, he felt awful about backing out of the deal and sent me this gorgeous print of my favorite painting that his father has done; "The Evils of Gossip". It now resides on an easel outside of my office. THANKS CHRIS!!! I also found a stack of old comics that I forgot about and haven't read yet - FLIPPIN' SWEET!
