Yummy Cocktail: The "Alien Brain Hemorrhage"

If you’ve ever spent time in an extraterrestrial prison hospital, you know that this is a pretty accurate description for some species. It’s made with peach schnapps, Bailey’s Irish Cream, blue curacao and grenadine syrup.

What if the Avengers were transported to the land of Finn & Jake's "Adventure Time"? Cartoon Network's MAD answers that question with this hilarious animated short!

The First 3 Minutes of The Midseason Premiere of The Walking Dead

New Pic of Karl Urban as Judge Dredd!

If you have never read a Judge Dredd comic, do so as soon as possible as it's one of the best sci-fi post apocalyptic storylines ever written! If you never saw the 1995 film starring Sylvester Stallone as Dredd, don't... ever.

Total Film magazine (via Stark Industries) is featuring this new photo of Karl Urban as Dredd in its February issue. Opening in 3D and 2D theaters on September 21, the Peter Travis-directed adaptation also stars Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey.
The Lionsgate release takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot - if necessary. The film is based on the John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra comic.

Settle Down Ladies - The Line Forms to The Left...

Wow - it's amazing how dangerous a person looks with a popped collar.

Australian designer David Giametta’s 1968 Vespa scooter was beyond restoration, but not beyond repurposing. He modded the back end into a hip laptop desk. I want to do stuff like this with old motorcycles!

Wow. Just.... Wow.

Lynda Carter (TV's Wonder Woman) in a 1979 television special performing "I Was Made For Loving You" with a bunch of dancers dressed up in Bob Mackie-designed KISS costumes. Gotta see it to believe it - pretty much sums up the 70's.

New Van Halen Single With David Lee Roth!

Back in 1984, I discovered Van Halen as an impressionable 12 year old boy. It was through the video for "Hot For Teacher", and before I even saw it, I heard Alex Van Halen's insane rapid-fire drumming at the intro that made me realize I was in for a treat. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY!! The video spoke to my 12 year-old psyche on every level; hot chicks, hot cars, being the coolest guy at school, and NOT being "sweet, sweet Waldo".

And the song! The song was everything rock and roll should be; bombastic drums, screaming vocals, electrifying guitar and risque lyrics! After that, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be a rock star! (and I still do). I was upset when Roth left the group in '85, but like many others, I slowly warmed up to Sammy Hagar as Roth's replacement, and even got to see them in New Orleans on the OU812 tour back in '88 or '89. My lucky sister even got to hang out with them when the band, as well as Valerie Bertinelli wandered into the "Crazy Corner" bar on Bourbon Street and held another encore on the tiny stage! She was always somehow in the right place at the right time when it came to meeting famous people even to this day!

Anywhoo, while I accepted Hagar, I always missed the magic and high-energy madness that David Lee Roth brought to the band, so you can imagine my excitement when they announced a reunion tour! And now, today as I was checking my mail at Yahoo, you can imagine my glee as I see that the band has released their first new song with Roth in 18 years!!

So, I eagerly put the screen on full-size, pumped up the volume on my iMac, and prepared myself to recapture some of that "1984" magic! Only... to be... terribly... terribly... disappointed. While Dave and the rest of the band sounds great, the song itself is just not that good. It's too slow, the lyrics are weak, and the chorus is terrible. I mean c'mon; how many times can you say "Tattoo, tattoo, tattoo" anyway?

Perhaps my expectations were too high? Perhaps this is just how they've all matured and evolved as musicians? Either way, I'm sure I'll go see them when they come around, but guys? Do me a favor and stick to the classics.

If You're in My Town, I'd Run Fast & Far...

Jim Henson: Master Muppeteer & Marvelous Multi-Tasker..,.

That is all.

Erica Durance as Wonder Woman on Harry's Law! HAWT!!

Durance, best known for starring as Lois Lane on "Smallville," will be playing a woman named Annie Bilson who is on trial for vigilantism. Her character just happens to take to the streets dressed as the Themysciran princess and the show, created by David E. Kelley, is making use of the costume that was designed for his never-aired "Wonder Woman" pilot. (You can check out that show's would-be star, Adrianne Palicki, modeling the costume in an image released last year).

The episode, airing this Wednesday, January 11th at 9:00pm ET, actually marks the second time that Durance has donned a Wonder Woman outfit for television. As Lois Lane, she wore a different take on the costume in the 2010 "Smallville" episode "Warrior," identifying herself as an "Amazon Princess" when the character headed to a comic book convention.

I don't know about you guys, but if I walked into my kitchen and saw her standing there in that outfit, my first thought certainly would NOT be; "I'd better call the police!"

It's Funny 'Cause it's TRUE!

You Just Can't Argue With Results!

First Look: Trailer For Wrath of The Titans!

Wow, I've gotta get my head in the game - I didn't even know they were planning a sequel to "Clash of The Titans", and all of a sudden, here's the trailer with a March release date! And lookie, lookie - Perseus even has Harry Hamlin hair this go-'round!

First Look: The Trailer For Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey!!

I know, I'm probably the last person to see this, but I'm posting it nonetheless. As a huge, huge, huge fan of the first three films, I am super-excited to see this one! Be sure you catch it early, 'cause you'll only have a week to catch it ;-)

Smells Like... LUNCHTIME!!!

This was over by the restrooms at The Hangout in Gulf Shores. You may have seen a peek at the place in those BP Oil commercials promoting the Gulf Coast. BTW, I didn't see any trace of oil and the beaches were beautiful when we were there last Summer.

I was at my favorite indoor Flea Market the other day, and look what I found; a gorgeous collection of vintage tin lunchboxes!! They ranged in price from $35 to $125, and I want them all!! My goal is to have a full wall of mounted lunchboxes in our kitchen - kinda like in this photo taken last Summer at "The Hangout" in Gulf Shores, Alabama. My ab fave is the Kung-Fu box in excellent condition.
