When you’re looking for a vehicle that epitomizes the Jurassic era, look no further than the Volkswagen beetle!
Created by the Mutoid Waste Co. for the Beautiful Days festival in Devon, this guy would be even more awesome if he could walk!

Teaser Art For The New Batman Cartoon!

Cartoon Network has announced that a new Batman series is premiering later this year. Called "Beware the Batman," the new show will be the first to adapt the caped crusader with CGI animation. Check out the first piece of teaser artwork beneath the official description:

A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight for an entirely new generation of fans. With WBA’s Sam Register executive producing, and Batman Beyond’s Glen Murakami and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated’s Mitch Watson producing, Beware the Batman, based on characters from DC Comics, is coming soon to Cartoon Network!

Great song - even better video! I can't even tell if it's real video mixed with animation, or completely animation! Either way, you should watch it as it will truly enrich your life!

This is the kind of thing that makes me squeal in delight while still wearing pants! For all of you Big-Bang Theory fans out there; Leonard Nimoy will be making a guest appearance on this weeks episode as... wait for it... MEGO SPOCK! That's right; Nimoy will be voicing Spock through his 1970's action figure in a dream sequence! Check out a clip;

I have my own MOC (Mint on card for all of you normal-types) Spock sitting on my toy shelf along with a MOC Captain Kirk. And no, I will not be taking them out of the package to play with them.

Watermelon Keg?!? Yes, Please!

From Neatorama;
Have you ever added vodka to a watermelon? This recipe takes it one step further. Hollow out a watermelon, then add a spigot. Fill the melon husk with punch and serve.
Perfect for those Summer parties!

Well, This is Different...

Maskull Lasserre, a Canadian sculptor, made this beautiful, realistic skull ("Incarnate") by clamping a collection of obsolete computer manuals together and carving away at the pages.
I kinda dig it.

The Hunger Games: My Review

It was good - you should go see it. I didn't read the book, but my 13 year old son did, and he liked the movie as well.

First Look: The Aliens From MIB 3!

This is a pic of the 1950's era aliens (with master monster maker; Rick Baker) from the upcoming Men In Black 3, st for a May 25 release. I'm definitely seeing a lot of 1950's sci-fi film influences here! See more photos here!

Sorry I Haven't Posted Much Lately...

but I've been playing with my new toy! I drove to New Hampshire last week and picked up this sweet chopper for the low, low price of $700! Since then, I've done some pinstriping and added a couple of spiders and skulls. The seat has a burn on the sissy bar, so I ordered a new one last night. I'm also thinking of painting the rims red. Man, I feel like such a bad-ass on this thing!
