I have been a huge fan of Tim's art for years now, and hope to one day own one of his pieces.

I went into this movie really not expecting too much. I thought the first one was really good, the second one was so-so, and I expected the third to be not-so-great.
Holy crap was I WRONG! I really didn't think they could bring anything fresh to the documentary-style, low budget formula, but baby, they brought it in spades!! I was totally taken by surprise at the ending, and there were enough chills n' thrills to keep you on the edge throughout. Not only did I like it more than the second installment, I thought it was just as good if not better than the original!
How many third installments can you say THAT about?

Super-collector Brian Adams (no, not the Canadian) shot me an email the other day asking me if I would like to be profiled on his awesome blog; "Cool & Collected".
I thought; "a chance to show off my collection AND talk about myself?" Hell's yes!
The site is devoted to geeks like myself who have waaay too much crap and not enough room to show it all off. Think of "Hoarders" but with less cat feces.
I'm kidding though - this is pretty damn awesome! I wonder how long it took to put this together?

The Chevy Corvette car and speedboat hybrid might be the slickest amphibious vehicle on the planet, but when it comes to campers, nothing compares to the luxury the Elemment Palazzo offers. The mere mention of campers and RVs invokes images of cramped living quarters that can house only your essentials. But the Elemment Palazzo with its lavish fixture and ornate designs obliterates that notion completely. As it should, what with a coronary-inducing price tag of $3 million.
Austrian company Marchi Mobile designed Palazzo as part of its Elemment line of luxury vehicles that very visibly displays the trappings of wealth. You'll see in Palazzo what you never thought you'd see inside an RV. Master bedroom with an adjoining bathroom? Check. Leather interior? Check. Rainfall shower, fireplace, and 40" TVs? Check, check, check.
Impressive enough as it is, it doesn't end there — the 40' long Palazzo also has a pop-out bar replete with a skylight and underfloor heating that you can activate by pushing a single button. The bar adds 80% more room to the camper's original 430 square feet floor space. When it comes to the exterior side of things, you may or may not be glad to know (depending on how you feel about it) that the Palazzo is covered in glow-in-the-dark paint.
The 20-ton Palazzo can reach speeds of 93 mph, and uses 20% less fuel than vehicles of comparable size due to its aerodynamic design. The designers at Marchi Mobile say Palazzo is completely customizable, and if you have more money to spare, they'd welcome any outrageous modifications, going as far as to cover it in diamonds.
That's right - roughin' it is for CHUMPS!
Good Morning America had a great "Show Me The Money" segment on the value and collectability of 80's toys. Made me want to get my collection appraised! (Not that I would ever sell)
I couldn't embed it, but you can check it out here!

Man, I went to the "Spirit" Halloween shop in Portland this weekend, and I couldn't believe the sheer volume and sophistication of this year's costumes for kids. Now don't get me wrong, I could've dropped some major coin on some of those props and animatronics, but when I was trick or treating, we had two choices when it came to getting a Halloween costume; either your mom made it for you, or you went to the local pharmacy or TG&Y, plunked down $5 and went home with that year's hottest costume in a neat & tidy box. And you were damn happy to get it, too!
Now, you'd be lucky to get this year's hottest costume without taking out a second mortgage AND having to drive to five different places to put it all together! When the Hell did Halloween get so complicated?!?
My opinion is; Freakin'... wait for it... AWESOME!!! I guess they've just thrown the comic out, though, as none of that shit happened like that in the comics. It's cool, though - still very enjoyable viewing.I don't want to give too much away for those who haven't seen it yet, but if you think you know the show from being a faithful reader of the comics - think again.
Bottom line is; they totally delivered on all aspects; the thrills, the gut-wrenching suspense, the character development and the effects. I think they've even made the zombies creepier than the ones from last season, and one word of caution; don't eat a big meal before you watch; keeping it down during the crash course in "zombie dissection" will be more than you can bear ;-)
What's that? Didn't get enough zombie mayhem last night? Check out these great webisodes below;

I probably haven't worn a watch in nearly ten years, but that all may change with * Mr. Jones The Last Laugh Tattoo Special Edition * by Watchismo. From the website;
The time on this watch is displayed on the skull's teeth - the upper jaw shows the hours and the lower the minutes. The watch is a link to the tradition of the memento mori - an object designed to remind us that life is brief and we should seize the moment while we're here.
At $200, the price is more than a bit high for my blood, but it's so damn cool!! See a time-lapse video of the watch in action here.
I Just Hired Our First Programming partner for "Planet My Town". I'd Like to Extend a Very Warm Welcome to David Tompkins!
I still need three or four more talented programmers to make our 3-month completion goal! Oh, did I mention that everyone who helps make this site a reality will be considered an equal financial partner? Trust me when I say that when we go global, people will be referring to Facebook like they refer to "MySpace" now.
One last thing; did you know that when Facebook was just starting out, Microsoft offered to buy the fledgling network for 15 billion dollars? Yes, that's billion with a "B". Hmm... I wonder what they would offer for an even better network? I'm about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime, and I want to take you with me!!

I recorded this when it premiered last Wednesday, but just got around to watching it last night. Three words; CREEPY... AS... HELL!!! My wife and I loved it! Some of it was a bit confusing, but the story was solid, the cast was top-notch (love Jessica Lange as the creepy neighbor), and it even had plenty of those "What the?" moments we all know and love from watching five years of "Lost". The second episode airs tonight on FX at 10:00 EST, but if you missed the premiere, you can watch it by clicking; http://vod.fxnetworks.com/watch/ahs/1205292832001
