I've always been a huge fan of Mego Toys and Iron Man, so I decided to have the portrait I did of Mego Iron Man tattooed on my left arm! Am I crazy? Probably a bit, but I love it!
Step One: The Stencil is applied. No pain involved.
Step Two: The outline is applied. Lil' bit of pain.
Step Three: The black and red are filled in. That's not just red ink you see smeared on my arm, so yes, this hurts a good bit.
Finally, after two and a half hours it is finished! Quite a bit sore, but well worth it!

I'm sure you guys already know this, but the sequel to Captain America will be called Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and will very likely follow Ed Brubaker's awesome Winter Soldier storyline, revealing the true fate of Sebastian Stan's James "Bucky" Barnes after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. If you think Mackie looks familiar, it's because you watched him killing vampires alongside honest Abe in "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter".
Those of you familiar with The Falcon know that he was created in 1969 by Stan Lee and Gene Colan. Sam Wilson made his first appearance in Captain America #117 and was Marvel's first African-American superhero, continuing on as the book's regular co-star for much of the 1970's. Prior to a later retcon, Wilson was a Harlem social worker who shares an empathic link with birds, including his own falcon, Redwing. After becoming a costumed hero, Wilson made use of a flight harness to take flight alongside Cap. As a huge fan of the Winter Soldier storyline as well as the Falcon, I can't wait to see how they bring it to the big screen!
I don't know about you guys, but when Robert Downey Jr. unveiled the new armor for Iron Man 3 at SDCC a few days ago, I was incredibly underwhelmed. Why on Earth would they go with a skin tone/cream color?!? It looks like complete shit!! In my mind, they really hit the mark with the suitcase/Silver Centurion armor in the last film, but have COMPLETELY dropped the ball with this design.
The people involved in the making of the films need to realize that Tony Stark's armor designs are as equally important to fans as the story itself. I think I speak for all of the hard-core fans when I say that Iron Man's vast collection of armor-for-every-occasion was one of the biggest draws to the character! At least the Iron Patriot looks bad-ass! What do you guys think?

I Dare You to Eat a Bunch of Acid and Watch This on a 60 Minute Loop With The Volume All The Way Up...
Actually... you probably shouldn't do that. No, you really, really shouldn't.
Here's the 411 on what you're watching;
During a routine day on the job, Dredd is assigned to train and evaluate Cassandra Anderson (Thirlby), a rookie with powerful psychic abilities thanks to a genetic mutation. A heinous crime calls them to a neighborhood where fellow Judges rarely dare to venture- a 200 story vertical slum controlled by prostitute turned drug lord Ma-Ma (Headey) and her ruthless clan. When they capture one of the clan's inner circle, Ma-Ma overtakes the compound's control center and wages a dirty, vicious war against the Judges that proves she will stop at nothing to protect her empire. With the body count climbing and no way out, Dredd and Anderson must confront the odds and engage in the relentless battle for their survival.
This clip makes me want to see it a bit more than what they presented on the trailer, but I'm still miffed that Judge Death isn't in it. Was this storyline even in the comics? I don't remember it if it was.

Ron Pearlman recently donned the iconic Hellboy makeup once again recently, but it wasn't to film the much-anticipated "Hellboy 3". Instead, it was for a very special little boy named Zachary. Here's the whole story from SuperheroHype;
Spectral Motion, a well known special effects company which has worked on the Fantastic Four, Hellboy, and X-Men films, has been the location of two Make-A-Wish children's wishes. For one of them, Zachary wanted to meet and become Hellboy. When Ron Perlman heard about it, he couldn't refuse to don the horns once again.
Spectral Motion said: In the past three weeks, Spectral Motion has been honored to host two wonderful Make-A-Wish children, Caleb and Zachary. Zachary loved his visit for two very special reasons. It was Zachary's wish to meet Hellboy and also to become Hellboy. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation contacted Spectral Motion with this request, Mike thought it would be fantastic to have Ron Perlman reprise his role for the day. Ron loved the idea and donned the makeup once more (with the assistance of Lufeng Qu and Eden Elizalde) and also ordered a Hellboy sized meal of burgers, shakes, and fries for Zachary and his family and the entire Spectral crew to enjoy. Later in the day, Zachary was transformed into Hellboy with the assistance of makeup artists Lufeng Qu and Neil Winn. Both of the Make-A-Wish days were a complete thrill for the families of the children, as well as for the crew at Spectral Motion!
