I am a car-lover. More precisely, I am an antique car lover. Why only antique cars? Because antique cars were built with a sense of style! Cars today are, for the most part, are crimes against the eye! Boxy, plain, and strictly utilitarian. Back in the 50's and early 60's, cars, with their outrageous fins and extravagant chrome looked like they could blast off into the cosmos at any given time . Remember that commercial from a couple of years ago where they showed all of those sweet "future car" prototypes and asked the question "where are the cars of the future we were promised? "Well they are finally here", and we all expected to see a really awesome new car, but then they unveiled a crappy-looking boxy sedan that looked like every other crappy-looking sedan you see junking up the streets everyday? Would it kill an automaker to throw a few curves on a new model, or some shiny chrome? Oh well, I think our friends at Plan 59 may agree with me - take a trip down memory lane Here.
