10 Points...

... to anyone who can name the movie.

Well, HELLO THERE!!

Just an adorable baby Panda waving and smiling at you. Carry on.

Now, That's What I Call Graffiti!!

Check out Spider-Man's nemesis; Carnage, terrorizing a school bus from the back of a truck in San Fransisco!

WANT!

I absolutely love coffee table books, and this will be the next one that I purchase! As someone who is completely obsessed with the George Barris 1966 Batmobile, Batmobile: The Complete History is a must have! From the Amazon description;
Here for the first time is the complete history of the sleek, sophisticated, incomparable Batmobile. From its humble beginnings in the pages of Detective Comics, to its reimaginings every decade in the pages of DC Comics, to its unforgettable appearances on the big screen, this book explores each incarnation of the Batmobile in incredible detail and scope.

In addition to comic books, the Batmobile has been immortalized in nearly every imaginable medium, including film, television, toys, and video games. Most recently, it was given breathtaking new life—and incredible capabilities—in Christopher Nolan’s extraordinary film trilogy, which concludes with 2012’s
The Dark Knight Rises. While each of the Batmobile’s incarnations will be explored, special attention will be paid to the "Tumbler" Batmobile from Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

With stunning gatefolds and detailed specs, blueprints, and historical comparisons,
BATMOBILE: The Complete History is an informational and visual delight for auto and Batman fans alike. It’s an unparalleled and high-speed journey that will leave you breathless.

Very Cool Amazing Spider-Man Poster for IMAX!

Hey, I just realized something interesting; July 3rd is a Tuesday. I don't think I've ever heard of a movie opening on a Tuesday!

Recent Aquisitions...

I found this cute lil' bugger for $25! It's about 14" long, runs on 2 DD batteries, rides and spins on the floor in every direction, only stopping every so often for the driver to scan the landscape with his video camera. Rear rocket fire lights up and makes a rat-a-tat-tat sound, driver rotates while camera screen lights up.

Godzilla is a 1978 Monogram re-release of the classic Aurora kit from the 1960's. I'm not much into putting model kits together, so I bought this one fully assembled and professionally painted for the low, low price of $8! I found both of these items at the Auburn Flea Market here in Maine.

Creepy as All Hell...

The Shining sculptures by Clair Monaghan.

You Have Given Baby Sloth Much To Consider...

Please wait patiently while he contemplates his response.
He is a Sloth, so it may take a while.

HA!

Stupid Fish.

These Are AWESOME!

New York-based artist Sebastian Errazuriz (previously on Neatorama) never fails to amuse me. His "Shoe Pants" - sort of like an adult footie pajama - is like the ultimate hip street wear! Link

Would You Be Brave Enough to do This?

I would do it in a heartbeat!

Trailer For Dredd!!

I know this has been out since Thursday, but I've been busy, OK?!? I gotta say though; I'm not terribly impressed.

If You Liked Prometheus, Then Check This Out! **SPOILER ALERT***

I caught the film yesterday, and not only was it excellent, but also a little jarring. As you all know, I am a HUGE UFO enthusiast, and people I have spoken to deeply in the know have told me similar stories to those echoed above. Really scary stuff.
What's interesting is that everyone wants to know the truth, but the truth is there - Dig a little and you will find it. I will warn you though - you may not like what you find...

Pray You Never Run Out of Refills...

Perfect Combination of 2 of My Favorite Things; Wine & Robots!

Discreet affirmations of grace and style are the mark of a wine connoisseur. This is how you should present your wine in a way that communicates your breeding and upbringing. Now for sale on Craigslist: a 32-bottle wine rack made from a thousand pounds of automobile and motorcycle transmission parts.

My only problem is... how do I fit my box o' wine into that?

Official Poster For Dredd and 2 New Screenshots!

Looks cool, but I'm still very much on the fence regarding this one - having a Judge Dredd movie without Judge Death is kinda like having the Batman without the Joker. Perhaps, like Batman, he will appear in the sequel? I would just love to see a zombie apocalypse headed by Judge Death and the other Dark Judges!

Happy 30th Anniversary to The Best Summer Movie Season EVAH!!!

I remember being sooo creeped out by the "ear worms"! And yes, I cried when Spock died.

I felt like I could take on the world when I walked out of this film. I'm really glad no one took me up on it.

I didn't get to see this one in the theatres, being rated R and all, but somehow I managed to watch it like, 30 times on HBO in '83!

This film taught me one very valuable rule that I still abide by to this very day; never, ever, ever go to sleep with a clown at the foot of your bed. It's just not worth the risk.

Yup, cried like a little girl at this one, too! DON'T JUDGE ME - you know you did!

I didn't get to see this one until a few years later, but it's still one of my all-time favorite fright/sci-fi flicks of all time!

Another one I didn't get to see while it was on the big screen, but it's one of the best coming-of-age movies of all time! "Aloha Mr. Hand!"

I admit that I wasn't able to really appreciate Blade Runner until much later in life, but I think it's one of the best & smartest sci-fi films to date.
Check out Yahoo Movies! for more totally awesome Summer of '82 flicks!

This is Pretty Neat...

From Neatorama;
Jeff Broz and a group of his teenage friends went out to the desert where George Lucas was filming Return of the Jedi and recorded what they saw. Thirty years later, we are all jealous! -via The Daily What Geek

Uh-Oh... Look Who Will be Causing Trouble in Iron Man 3!

"Please show MODOK, please show MODOK, please show MODOK!"

First Look: The Governor From Season 3 of The Walking Dead

I think I can speak for most fans of the comic with a resounding... meh.
C'mon! I expected someone with a look closer to Danny Trejo - not Colin 'effin FIRTH! "Oh no - better run for your lives; here comes MR. DARCY!!"
I know that it's all in the performance and that I shouldn't be hung up on such details, but I wanted long hair and an eye patch, DAMNITT!!!
