Can you imagine luggin' this thing around? "Affordable" is a relative term considering that this bad-boy probably cost $1500 or more at the time, and probably cost $1 per minute to make a call. I think my folks got one around 1992 and I used to cruise around in their car calling people just to tell them that I was calling from a car. Yeah, I was a bit of a tool.
