Finally... The Trailer to AMC's "THE WALKING DEAD!!!"

Sorry for the poor quality, but this was smuggled out of ComiCon and probably recorded on a phone, but it looks absolutely PERFECT! I can't wait to see more!

Extended "Goon" Footage Looks Pretty Sweet!

Released at SanDiego ComiCon, Eric Powell's "The Goon" animated feature looks like it will be worth a view or two - it doesn't look like they'll be pulling any punches, either!

So Here it is...

So what do you guys think? I'm gonna go all out on this one - a kickin' sound system w/ MP3 capability, mini fridge, DVD player w/ drop down flatscreen. And I want a spoiler and a big tinted bubble window on the roof. We'll go to shows and town to town on the weekends selling my art from the van. Maybe even give away hot dogs and drinks and make it into a traveling party. Kick out some old school Funkadelic and just have fun with it! But first, my mechanic is gonna go over and check it out for me and let me know wether or not I should buy it. It supposedly only needs a new tire and work on the brake line, but we'll see.

My New Favorite Site!

Great vintage B&W of Gene!

Did I mention I might be buying a 70's van kinda like this? I'm looking at one and will post some pics of it soon.

My wife's mother used to tell her and her brother not to stick their arms out of the window of the car because the Hell's Angels might come by and chop them off.
No $hit, really.

I WILL have a bike like this.... someday.

This little piece of badassery belonged to late drummer extroidinaire Buddy Guy

They have a great section of photos from the Sex Pistol's 1978 Texas tour.

I wonder where this bike is today?

I'll bet if you sprayed this place down with luminol, you could see it glowing from space!

I would kill for one of these!!!

One swanky pad, dad.

He walks the line...

The Selvedge Yard is your one-stop shop for all things awesome! And not the kind of awesome that is super-crazy awesome for a while and then slowly declines into the valley of the lame, waiting to be ressurrected in twenty years when it will be "retro awesome".

NO! I'm talking about timeless awesome - choppers, muscle cars, Johnny Cash, Miles Davis, retro-futuristic bachelor pads, custom vans and all the other things that always were and always will be the cat's ass! Go check it out and get yer cool on!

Sweet Rides!!!

As many of you know, I am a bit of a custom car nut. So much so that if I ever hit the lotto, the first thing I'm buying is a Barris Batmobile! Here's some awesome customs built by the kingv of kustoms himself, the late, great Ed (Big Daddy) Roth! I found these on Coop's Flickr stream, where there's tons more! Enjoy!

I'm on My Way....

Hey gang - I've got some exciting news; I was contacted by Jill Ricci, the co-director of the Parlor Gallery in Asbury Park, New Jersey yesterday, and they invited me to participate in their "Oh My Skull" show beginning November 6! Jill ran across my Etsy page and picked the pieces she would like to see at the show (shown above). I'm really excited as this is another step to me doing my art full-time, and all ya'll can say you knew me when! The show runs from Nov 6 until Dec 7, so if you're in the area, go check it out!

New Art!

Well, I finally got around to doing the second part in my 4-part "masks" series. I had a really hard time picking which mask to do as I scanned through so many iconic Ben Cooper and Collegeville samples, but I finally decided on the old Witch. I only sold one of the first one, depicting the Frankenstein mask, but I really dig them, so I'm gonna see it through! Make Halloween everyday and purchase yours here!
