Now don't get me wrong - I enjoy slasher flicks. And I've also been known to enjoy a BK Rodeo Burger with a medium order of onion rings. But combining the two? Nope, uh-uh, I don't think so. I'm guessing this ill-conceived venture was born out of a desire to promote Burger King's practice of staying open late, since serial killers are likely to be night-owls?

I don't know, maybe it's just me having a hard time of associating a tasty burger and fries with disemboweling, decapitation and general bodily mutilation. While I got a kick out of seeing the ads, I don't think they are effective advertising for an EATING establishment. Just my two cents. See all of the ads here.
